Carpenter

Liberty Hill Construction is looking for a motivated and hardworking individual to join our team as a Carpenter. Liberty Hill Construction is a highly respected Design/Build Remodeling company, located in Bedford, NH. Responsibilities and Duties

  • Constructing, maintaining, altering, and repairing building components and structures to assist with various types of residential construction projects
  • Maintain quality and control procedures on the jobsite
  • Inspect the jobsite and the quality of work done by outside contractors
  • Safely operate and maintain hand and power tools and other equipment
  • General installing, odd jobs and finish work to assist in maintaining project schedule
  • Make sure jobsite is clean at the end of the day to maintain safety standards for Customers
  • Provide support in carrying out the responsibilities of a Laborer or other tasks that may fall outside of their regular job duties when needed
  • Willingness to seek additional responsibility and guidance from other Liberty Hill Construction team members to enhance existing skills or learn new skills that will assist potential advancement within the company

Job Type:

  • Full-time (year-round)
  • Monday-Friday
  • 8 hour day-shift with potential for overtime
  • 7AM-3PM shifts, with some flexibility

Pay:

  • $55,000-$75,000 annually

Education & Qualifications

  • 5 years of experience in residential carpentry and general construction
  • Required to stand for long periods of time, lift a minimum of 50lbs and work at heights as needed by project demands
  • Ability to comprehend building and construction plans
  • Willingness to learn
  • Strong working knowledge of job site safety procedures
  • Clear communication skills required
  • Mist be able to manage time, stay organized and be a self-starter
  • Must be dependable, reliable and drug-free

License/Certifications

  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required
