Building On Hope 2016

On a beautiful Sunday in May the hard work of countless volunteers was unveiled at the MPAL Community Center named in honor of Office Michael Briggs! For more than two weeks volunteers transformed this aging former St. Cecelia Hall on the corner of Beech Street and Lake Avenue into a place of hope for children in the community! Building on Hope 2012

This year, Building on Hope chose to renovate a 27 year old former church that houses Girls, Inc. The building was in need of major renovations, repairs and cosmetic work. The center offers a wide variety of services and programs for girls, their families and community members. Each day approximately 100 at-risk girls attend the Manchester Girls Center and benefit from a program that handles challenging issues facing girls each day. Beyond the enrichment and personal development programs, each evening Girls, Inc. provides from 5 to 50 families with a hot, nutritious meal in a safe, family friendly environment. It was an honor and privilege to be one of the Project Managers on this two week “build”.

Community Service

We believe that it is important to “give back” to the communities we live and work in. We hope that you enjoy reviewing some of the projects we will participate in over the next few years as we practice “participate in your community” spirit.

Faerie-Folk Festival at Peter Woodbury School

The creative elves at Liberty Hill Construction have been hard at work building a tiny custom dwelling from entirely natural materials to display at the upcoming Faerie-Folk Festival at Peter Woodbury School in Bedford. This magical family event took place on Saturday June 1st from 11:00a.m. to 3:00p.m. All proceeds benefited the school’s Outdoor Schoolyard.
